The Blind School’s grounds are in desperate need of drainage channels and grounds repair. These drainage channels will minimize erosion during the intense rainy season (pictured below). Additionally, repairing the grounds would provide a safer area for the children to walk. Because the children are visually impaired, they cannot see rocks and sharp debris on the dirt. New turf or cement would protect the children’s feet and improve the efficiency of directing rainwater.

While part of the grounds has new turf and drainage ditches, we hope to expand this turf area and maintain the drainage ditches during the rainy season.
