We continue to be amazed at all that God is doing in Bo! Ken’s and my ‘best laid plans’ for our recent trip were confounded in a beautiful way by the Lord.

For example, a short meeting to sign a one-year lease for the Sierra Leone Association for the Blind turned into a one-hour celebration of the association’s new relationship with Veritas complete with songs of praise, thanksgiving speeches, introductions and generous gifts from the hands of the blind . . . . humbling, beautiful, undeserved.

Another example, the emergence of a potential “hub of ministering activity”! We were informed ½ way through our trip that for a mere $40,000, we could build a church complete with sanctuary, kitchen, generator house, bathrooms and a meeting place under the mango tree!! Sign me up!!! God birthed a vision for a “hub of activity” wherein the Gospel could become front and center in teaching, community, fellowshipping, feeding and worshiping right next to Pastor Peter’s house on a perfectly sized empty lot Peter’s family own!! Amazing.

Another example, GiLa Hospital informed us they have several thousand square feet they would dedicate to a sight clinic if we are able to muster the interest among doctors here in the States. Please do it, Lord.

God, you are perfect in all YOUR ways. We love you, Lord. Thank you!!
