We are so excited to report that the Veritas Foundation has partnered with Dr. Feimata Yokie, an Ophthalmologist at the Bo Government Hospital in Sierra Leone. The goal of the partnership is to explore opportunities to restore sight for the 48 resident children at the Paul School for the Blind! Testing and evaluation will continue throughout the next several weeks to identify possible options that could correct the vision of these children. Such options could include surgery, medication, or special eyewear. We ask for your prayers to guide Dr. Yokie’s steps, and we ask for the miracle of complete sight restoration for the children!

Dr. Yokie is conducting additional evaluations of the children at the hospital today using her special equipment. We can’t wait to hear if she’s found any opportunities for sight restoration! Please keep the children in your prayers!
